All
levels of ARMET opaque armor are water resistant and non-oxidizing ballistic
and explosion resistant building panels or molded parts, which have numerous
security applications and are easily installed in new or existing
structures. If visible, ARMET panels can be decoratively finished by
painting, covering with contact bond wood veneer, vinyl, or other available
materials -- or ordered with a custom color gelcoat finish.
ARMET LEVEL I - IV
Armet meets and exceeds U.L. 752 -
Armet Level III U.L. listed 32RN. These panels can be cut
on-the-job. For best results, a jig saw with a Remington tungsten carbide
blade, or a carbide impregnated Skill saw blade, may be used. ARMET panels
can be drilled with a standard twist drill. These panels may be attached to
each other or to studs by first drilling a proper sized countersink hole and
attaching with self-tapping sheet metal screws or bolts. Overlay batts (to
cover butt joints) will be provided when 'specified.'
ARMET LEVEL V - VII
ARMET V - VII and ARMETAL must
be custom sized to exact dimensions and must include exact placement of all
attachment holes and notches. These panels cannot be worked in the field and
must be shipped ready for installation with compatible method of attachment
and hardware.
