AT-LAV AT-LAV features a one-piece molded rechassissable body, available in ballistic levels from II to VII. Windshield styles, placement of two door configurations and side viewports, as well as other optional equipment, allows for each AT-LAV to be individually "designed." In addition to its clean lines, the one-piece body eliminates seam and weld joints, thus enhancing its structural integrity while affording bumper-to-bumper ballistic protection. The ballistic fiberglass composite maintains a 20% cooler interior (does not hold and transfer heat as metals do) and ranges from approximately 31% to 41% lighter p.s.f. than other metal composites (range depends on level of protection). P.D.I.C's composite has an estimated life span of 100 years.
The AT-LAV is the ideal armored vehicle for all terrain patrol, assault team
transport and operations, rescue and medivac for military, government and city/county law
