New forms of criminal violence and terrorism represent a current and growing threat to citizens and to law enforcement personnel.

Ambush, barricade and sniper situations are commonplace and the types of weapons being employed by psychopaths, criminals and terrorists include some of the most advanced and sophisticated firearms and weapons available in military arsenals anywhere in the world.

Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams must be highly mobile and possess fast reaction time regardless of where or when they are needed. The vehicle most be armored to protect members of the team and allow for extended tactical deployment of the vehicle.
